The end of the year is near! Time to look back on what I’m thankful for. For example, for these amazing podcasts.

If you’re not listening to podcasts, you’re missing out on an extremely easy way to learn and expand your horizon. There are thousands of fascinating podcasts out there, about extremely niche topics such as pet chameleons or Willem Dafoe movies but also broader subjects such as investing, marketing and self-development.

To get you started, here are three of my personal favorites:

The Tim Ferris Show

Our hero from the Four-hour workweek is still interviewing extremely interesting people from all corners of the world of excellence, be it marketing hero Seth Godin, NBA basketball god LeBron James or lesser know people such as the psychedelics expert Stan Grof who has taken more LSD in a scientific research setting than anyone alive. Tim Ferris shows up extremely prepared for his interviews, and he only asks intelligent questions. You can learn a lot here!

Where should we begin? (Esther Perrel)

Relations, I don’t know how it is in your circles, but it seems like a lot of couples are struggling with them. And haven’t we all at one time or another? Belgium-born and US-resident psychotherapist Esther Perrel comes to the rescue with an amazingly intimate inside view on couples therapy. It all boils down to honest and open communication. But how do you manage to grow as a couple being this vulnerable? Ester Perrel points is in the right direction with her – yes, I can say that, uber sexy narrative voice. Warmly recommended!

The Joe Rogan Experience (Joe Rogan)

Joe Rogan is a popular standup comedian who talks a lot about smoking pot, sex and relations, if that’s your thing, check him it for some really funny stuf. For me, he is the guy who managed to catch my hero Elon Musk for a nearly three-hour podcast in which Elon takes an already iconic puff from a joint and utters awesome phrases like “If you want flying cars, go put wheels on a helicopter.” Elon, you are my man. Now I have learned that you also don’t put a casing around your phone, I feel even more connected. Bless you!
